Facts about me...
Fact 01
I started young...
At age thirteen I came third in a photography competition at Drusillas Zoo park, Alfriston. This wasn't the picture I took, this is a spider monkey from Woburn Zoo but I have always loved photographing animals whenever possible.

Fact 02
...but I'm a late bloomer.
My first career was in care and education, working with young people with behavioural issues. I didn't go to University until I was nearly 30 years old, gaining a BA in Media Studies, where I learned to film and edit.

Fact 03
I briefly worked in TV...
After graduating in 2013 I briefly worked in the TV industry as a production assistant - on programmes like Cowboy Builders and Food UnWrapped. It wasn't the career I thought it was, so I left, became unemployed and volunteered at Cats Protection in 2014.

Fact 04
...then built my own career.
In 2014 Cats Protection gave me the opportunity to make a video for them, which kick started me into setting up my own video production & photography business. To this day CP are still my clients. I have also worked for Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.

Video production
Since 2014 I have worked as a freelancer for Cats Protection, creating a wide range of video content, including cat care and behaviour educational guides, advocacy campaigns, event promotion, internal learning and development content and in recent years all finalist videos for the charity's largest PR campaign of the year, the National Cat Awards. It is through this experience I have gained a wealth of knowledge on cat behaviour and how to get the best shots, while keeping them calm.
